Succulent Coffee Cup
Jianzhan, a Chinese art with a heritage of hundreds of years. The rich and deep colors as well as the intricate and exquisite glaze make each teacup unique.

Jianzhan's Production Process
The production process of Jianzhan is complex and sophisticated, mainly including the following steps:
- Material selection: Clay and ores with high iron content unique to Jianyang, Fujian, are chosen as raw materials. They undergo crushing, elutriation, aging and other processes to make fine blank materials.
- Blank making: The blank of the teacup is formed by hand throwing or mold pressing, and then trimmed to make the blank shape regular.
- Glazing: Local unique glazes are applied to the surface of the blank by dipping, pouring or spraying. The thickness and uniformity of the glaze layer have a great impact on the finished product effect.
- Firing: The glazed blanks are put into a dragon kiln or electric kiln and fired under a reducing flame at high temperature (about 1300℃). During firing, slight changes in temperature and atmosphere will cause unique crystalline patterns such as hare's fur and oil spots on the glaze surface. The yield rate is low, and each treasure is unique.

Jianzhan, a Chinese art with a heritage of hundreds of years.
Jianzhan originated in the Northern Song Dynasty and flourished in the Southern Song Dynasty. It is a specialty of Jianyang, Fujian, famous for being exclusively used by the royal family. Later, it spread to Japan and became prevalent there. Renowned for unique glaze patterns such as hare's fur and oil spots, it was an important carrier of the Song Dynasty's tea culture. Once lost for a time, its firing techniques have been gradually restored in modern times.
